Cisco VPN Access

To access a machine via a Cisco VPN, either locally or remotely, you will need to provide the following details:

  • IP Address of the Cisco Gateway

    • For Remote connections, this must be a Public IP address

    • For Local connections, this should be a Private IP address

  • IPSec ID

  • IPSec Secret

  • Username

  • Password

Generally speaking, most of this information is available in the Cisco PCF file used when manually connecting to the target VPN. If you are able to securely send us a copy of this file, we can use it to access the VPN and start collecting your production data.
