Don't buy modems if you can avoid it

Purchasing

• Avoid modems wherever you can. Always try to buy "gateways" or "routers"

• Avoid "NB-IoT" or "LTE Cat M1" devices (modem/gateway/router)

  • These are low power, low bandwidth devices

  • While Ardexa should work, the bandwith is insufficient to support smooth remote operations, particularly tunnel/VPN
