Active Incidents

The Active Incidents card displays incidents created by Ardexa's Alerting feature that are currently active.

Columns

Location

Indicates the location in the workgroup's entity hierarchy affected by the incident. Alerts that cannot be mapped to an entity will not be displayed in this card, but can be viewed in the Alerts page.

Clicking on an entity in the location will navigate to that entity's default dashboard.

Alert

The name of the Alert that created the Incident.

Severity

Indicates the severity level assigned to the relevant Alert at the time the Incident was raised. See the Prerequisites section of the alerts page for more details.

Categories

Displays applicable Categories assigned to the relevant Alert at the time the Incident was raised. See the Prerequisites section of the alerts page for more details.

Started at

The date/time that the Incident was raised.

Configuration

Configuration options for the Active Incidents card

Rows per page

Sets the maximum number of Incidents displayed at a time in the Active Incidents table. Setting this to zero will display all available rows. Use this with caution in large workgroups with potential for large numbers of incidents, as it can impact dashboard performance and layout.

Maximum incidents to display

This setting limits the total number of incidents that will be displayed in the card. The card will display the most recent incidents affecting the current entity and any descendants. For a complete view of all Active Incidents, see the Alerts page.
